Frontier contributes to 4th European Aviation Conference

Dan Elliott, Director at Frontier (Europe), spoke at the 4thEuropean Aviation Conference held at Cranfield University from 18th to 20th November 2015. The conference provides a forum at which experts from industry, academia and government from around the world meet to discuss key issues facing aviation. This year’s theme was the challenges faced in liberalising aviation markets.

Dan presented in two sessions. He participated in a round table discussion at the pre-conference workshop which discussed the UK Airports Commission and where next for UK airport policy. In the main conference, he presented a paper on freight markets setting out the results of an empirical analysis quantifying the impact of more liberal border processes on increased trade flows between nations.

Frontier (Europe) advises airlines, airports and governments around the world on issues relating to competition and regulation in the aviation sector, covering both passenger and cargo markets.
