Frontier speaks at the Regulation and Market Concentration breakfast roundtable

Richard Feasey, an Associate at Frontier (Europe), today shared his mobile sector experience at the Regulation and Market Concentration breakfast roundtable. The event, held at the Université Paris-Dauphine, brought together international regulators and industry representatives.

Acknowledging the influence of regulators on market structure in the sector, in particular by granting or removing mobile licenses, the roundtable explored the trade-offs between protecting the interests of mobile users, generating competitive pressure to promote innovation, and encouraging long run investment.

The roundtable was chaired by Joëlle Toledano, Professor at CentraleSupélec and former Board Member of ARCEP, the French telecommunications regulator. Other speakers joining Richard included Nicolas Curien,  Conseil Supérieur de l’Audiovisuel Board Member and Neil Pratt, Ofcom Director of Economic Analysis.

Frontier regularly advises organisations and regulators on competition and policy issues in the telecommunications sector.
