Mette Alfter, Associate Director at Frontier, today spoke at the “EU Damages Directive Implementation – Half Time” conference in Brussels. The conference focused on the implementation of the Damages Directive into national law, as the Directive needs to be implemented by the 27th December 2016.
Mette’s presentation set out the economics of how to assess the extent to which a customer has been able to pass-on a potential cartel overcharge to its own customers in the form of higher prices. She then commented on the Directive in the light of this.
