For the eleventh year running, Frontier has affirmed its commitment to the UN Global Compact, the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative.
Our latest annual statement, detailing what we did in 2023 to meet the UNGC’s objectives, is now available to view and download.
Business as a force for good
The UNGC encompasses over 20,000 organisations, across more than 160 countries. It encourages companies to adopt sustainable and socially responsible practices.
All members commit to doing business in a way that considers not just profit, but the wellbeing of people and the planet too.
To promote this, the UNGC is centred around ten principles, across the areas of human rights, labour, the environment and anti-corruption.
Frontier and the UNGC
We first became a member of the UN Global Compact in 2014, so this year marks our eleventh as a signatory.
Each year, we publish a ‘communication of progress’. It outlines what we’ve been doing to meet the UNGC’s principles. Our latest statement has now been published on the UNGC website.
Our progress list over the last year includes some key highlights:
- In early 2024 we rolled out a new Equity, Diversity and Inclusion strategy, involving groups and stakeholders from across the firm.
- In January 2023, we achieved our target of ‘40% female representation at the Manager by January 2024’ – one year ahead of target.
- Frontier has offset all of its carbon dioxide emissions giving us a ‘carbon zero’ status.
- Frontier has embedded its workplace adjustment policy. This policy supports the identifications and implementation of adaptations that account for health conditions and disabilities and support the individuals to work in such a way that they’re not disadvantaged by their situation.

Our continued commitment
In 2024, sustainability will remain at the heart of everything we do. It’s an integral part of the way we work and how we do business.
Clive Kenny, a Manager at Frontier, plays an important role in driving our commitment to the UNGC. “The UNGC plays an important role in supporting Sustainable Development Goals,” he says. “Responsibility for improving social and sustainability outcomes lies not just with governments and social enterprises, but also with the private sector firms like Frontier. We are proud supporters of the UNGC and the accountability it brings in improving Frontier’s positive social impact.”
