Lia works across Frontier’s Energy and Competition practices from our Berlin office.
She brings a strong mix of quantitative skills, a curiosity for complex economic and policy challenges, and a deep commitment to decarbonisation and the energy transition. Her recent work includes advising on financing models for hydrogen uptake, assessing secondary balancing markets across Europe, and supporting a merger case before the European Commission with detailed economic analyses.
Lia studied Economics in Utrecht, Prague and Lisbon, with a focus on environmental economics, and previously worked as a Regional Economist at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Georgia. She is fluent in German and English, and also speaks some French and Spanish.
