We’re delighted to announce the appointment of two new Non-Executive Directors (NEDs), Dr Susan Wegner and David Hume, who have formally joined Frontier’s Board from July 2025.
Javier Marin Romano will step down from the board in July, having been on the Frontier board since 2018.
Dr Susan Wegner currently Head of Group Data & AI at Allianz SE (SVP) and has significant leadership experience in AI and data strategy, having also worked at Deloitte Digital, Lufthansa Industry Solutions and Deutsche Telekom.
Dr Susan Wegner comments:
“Frontier Economics is at the forefront of addressing some of the most complex and important economic questions of our time. I am deeply honoured and excited about the opportunity to work with such a talented team and to support the firm’s mission with my experience in Digital Transformation, Data, and Artificial Intelligence. I look forward to contributing to its future direction and client impact.”
David Hume is a former senior tax partner and Vice Chairman at Deloitte, based in London. He previously collaborated with Frontier on several transfer pricing matters, and brings deep finance and tax expertise.
David Hume comments:
“I was delighted to be approached by Frontier about becoming a NED. I was fortunate to work with them on several projects whilst at Deloitte. They were always a delight to work with, really able team players, very knowledgeable, highly respected by others, and great fun. I look forward to continuing the association.”
Frontier Chair, Sharon White, comments:
“I’m pleased to see Dr Susan Wegner and David Hume join us at Frontier. They have a wealth of expertise across digital, AI and finance. Their knowledge and experience will help Frontier continue our growth in these areas. I’d also like to thank Javier Marin Romano for his time on the board, over the past seven years he has provided valuable guidance, strategic input and constructive challenge.”
With these changes, Frontier’s Board continues to evolve in step with the firm’s growth and ambitions. The addition of Dr Susan Wegner and David Hume marks an exciting new chapter, bringing fresh insight and specialist knowledge to help us navigate an increasingly digital and complex world.
