Pablo Gonzalez is a Senior Principal in Frontier’s Energy Practice, based in Madrid, where he leads Frontier’s energy work.
With over 15 years’ experience, his work focuses on Iberia and Latin America and covers regulation, policy design, transaction-related advice, and dispute support, primarily in the energy sector.
His regulatory experience includes tariff setting and the estimation of allowed revenues (including the estimation of cost of capital, depreciation structures, cost benchmarking and incentive design. Pablo supports decarbonisation efforts by governments, regulators, and companies through the design of policies, subsidy schemes, and commercial strategies. He has provided regulatory and market due diligence for more than 20 assets and has participated in over 35 disputes, advising on both merits and quantum across the energy sector and beyond.
Pablo graduated in Economics from the Universidad Pública de Navarra and holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Boston University.
