The CMA launched its 4Ps framework in February 2025, with the aim of improving the pace, predictability, proportionality and process of the UK’s competition regime.
Since then, the CMA has consulted on various aspects of its mergers and markets work and has continued to update its guidance on the assessment of competition cases.
