Jon is a Director in Frontier’s competition practice and specialises in providing economic evidence in competition litigation cases.
He has led much of Frontier’s work on some of the highest profile competition litigation cases brought before the E&W High Court and the CAT in recent years, including Trucks, BritNed, Power Cables and Gas Insulated Switchgear. Jon is currently instructed on several Collective Proceedings before the CAT.
Jon has extensive experience of scoping and overseeing the economic analyses to be deployed in the context of complex litigation cases, producing expert reports at the different stages in the litigation lifecycle and supporting legal teams in relation to case management. As well as working closely with other testifying experts at Frontier, he has also acted as an expert witness on multiple occasions.
Jon also has experience of advising clients through CMA and EU merger inquiries, with particular expertise in the grocery and gambling sectors, where his previous cases include Tesco/Booker, Poundland/99p Stores, Ladbrokes/Coral and Rank/Gala.
Jon co-leads Frontier’s European competition litigation group, and in 2023 he was listed by Who’s Who Legal as a ‘Future Leader’ in the Global Guide for Economists category.
