Juana Santamaria Garcia

Juana is an expert in the telecommunications sector, with over 20 years’ experience advising clients across Latin America, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

She specialises in regulatory, competition, and dispute-resolution matters, delivering tailored, evidence-based advice underpinned by strong analytical rigour and deep international experience.

Juana has advised on a wide range of sector-wide issues, including the development of margin squeeze tests, merger analysis, and competition cases involving excessive pricing, contractual practices, and on-net/off-net price differentials. She has led price benchmarking exercises, provided extensive regulatory design advice, and served as an expert in disputes.

Juana holds a PhD in Economics from the European University Institute and a BA in Economics from the University of Alicante. I love airports, so I would be a ground hostess.

Coca de Mollitas, from my home town (Alicante). Only found there - I still do not understand why no one has tried to sell it elsewhere!
