Emily is Director of AI Assurance at Frontier, building our work on the economics, adoption, and governance of artificial intelligence.
She brings almost a decade of experience in AI governance and policy across the private and public sectors, most recently having held senior roles in government leading work on AI assurance, AI adoption and skills. Emily played a leading role in developing the UK’s domestic and international approaches to the responsible adoption and assurance of AI, working across government, industry, and the wider AI ecosystem.
She is particularly interested in sociotechnical approaches to AI governance, as well as how to apply behavioural economics, and has worked across several sectors including financial services, healthcare, and transport.
Emily is passionate about the safe and trustworthy development and adoption of AI across the economy, and outside of her roles has published work on the responsible publication of AI research, and how to manage its risks.
