Luke Davison

Luke provides specialist advice and analysis on issues across the energy markets as well as expert guidance in other infrastructure sectors.

He uses creative problem solving alongside skilful analysis and economics to provide practical answers to our clients’ most difficult questions. Luke has recently delivered extensive support and advice on retail energy price caps within the UK market. He has also helped clients’ with: issues across the value chain including network efficiency benchmarking and assessing power purchase agreements.  

In addition to his energy work Luke has advised clients on a broad range of economic issues and sectors including: cost allocation in the water sector, inflation forecasting for rail infrastructure, econometric analysis of performance targets for telecoms infrastructure and expert witness analysis in the postal sector.

Before joining Frontier, Luke was a Manager at Deloitte Economic Consulting, following five years working for the UK Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC). Luke’s work at DECC has provided extensive experience of detailed energy policy and analysis in topic covering wholesale electricity modelling, nuclear power economics and retail energy markets

Luke holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Economics from University College London.
