Frontier Economics is delighted to renew its strategic partnership with the Royal Economic Society (RES), continuing our shared work to champion equity, diversity and inclusion across the economics profession.
The renewal marks the second year of a partnership that is built around a simple idea: economics is stronger when it draws on a wider range of people, perspectives and experiences.
Over the first year, our partnership has supported a lively programme of activity across the RES’s Diversity & Inclusion Network, the Discover Economics outreach campaign, and the UK Women in Economics Network.
Highlights included Frontier colleagues contributing to events on the future of economics, early careers conversations and school outreach activity, as well as Frontier hosting the RES Diversity & Inclusion Network’s tenth event.
Andrew Leicester, Executive Director and member of Frontier’s ED&I Council, says:
“I’m thrilled that we will continue to be the strategic ED&I Partner for the RES for a second year, building on the great work delivered in year one. The Partnership underpins Frontier’s ongoing commitment to ED&I in the face of global headwinds, and our determination to make the economics profession open and inclusive to as many talented people as possible.”
Giovanni Razzu, RES Diversity, Inclusion and Professional Conduct (DIPC) Trustee, stated:
“Extending our partnership with Frontier Economics builds on a strong first year of collaboration. Together, we’re focused on strengthening professional culture, widening participation, and supporting pathways into economics through practical action, so that talented people from all backgrounds can thrive.”
We are excited to continue working with the RES to broaden access, support under-represented groups and strengthen inclusion across the profession.
