Frontier Economics is pleased to announce the appointment of former senior civil servant Adrian Lewis as its lead local Associate in Guernsey.
For the past six months Adrian has been the acting Chief Executive of the States of Alderney. Prior to that he held senior posts within the States of Guernsey including as Chief Secretary at Home Affairs and before that Chief Secretary of Environment & Infrastructure, Chief Officer of Public Services and Chief Officer of Culture & Leisure. He also has an in-depth business knowledge of social media marketing and the not-for-profit sector.
“Frontier has undertaken numerous projects in Guernsey both for the States and the business sector. With Adrian’s arrival we look forward to expanding our presence further” said Public Policy Director Matthew Bell. He added that “Adrian brings a wealth of experience of public policy through his leadership roles in both Alderney and Guernsey and he is an expert in his field. His focus is to build Frontier’s strong reputation and Bailiwick presence, working with existing associate Wayne Hassall and our local team.”
Recent Frontier projects in Guernsey have included the development of a skills strategy, creating a tax model showing the effect of tax changes on public finances and the economy, working with the States of Guernsey and Alderney to unlock potential economic development in Alderney, reviewing the economic risks and benefits of extending Guernsey’s runway, developing the business case for establishing the Digital Greenhouse, reviewing the value of the Funds Sector, and various other advisory and support roles.
