Frontier hosts Women Economist’s Network event in London

Frontier (Europe) today hosted a Women Economist’s Network (WEN) discussion event in London. Kate Barker, economist and former member of the Monetary Policy Committee, spoke about the economics of the UK housing market, including housing demand and the role of planning policy, followed by a Q&A discussion with the audience. The event was chaired by Ulrike Hotopp, ‎Chief Economist at the Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra).

WEN was established in 2000, providing an opportunity for women economists to network and share experiences. Attendees work as economists in a wide range of organisations including government, consultancy, regulators, academia, and industry.
