Christoph is based in Frontier's Cologne, Brussels and Berlin offices and works with Frontier’s Energy practice.
Christoph is an expert on European and German energy and climate policy. He has extensive experience working on numerous decarbonisation projects across the electricity, heating, transport and industry sectors on behalf of energy companies, ministries, industry associations, and research institutes. With his expertise in market design, CO2 pricing, model-based energy market analyses, and developing business cases for low-carbon solutions, Christoph brings a deep understanding of the intricate dynamics of the energy market.
Prior to joining Frontier Economics, Christoph worked in both the public and private sectors, for example for the European Commission, the German Foreign Office, Ernst & Young and the Brunswick Group. He holds a Master's degree in European Public Policy from the College of Europe, Bruges and a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Cologne.
He is fluent in German, English and Spanish and also speaks French.
