Monica works as a manager in Madrid and has a wide experience advising clients in competition, telecoms and digital platforms.
In competition, she advises clients on a range of antitrust issues with a focus on merger cases, market definition and dominance assessments, as well as damage estimation. She has worked extensively on digital platforms topics.
In telecoms, she has experience in regulation and ex-post policy. She was involved in market reviews, anti-competitive practices and merger work, across both fixed and mobile telecommunication markets.
She has experience before the European Commission, national competition authorities and telecoms regulators, particularly in Spain, Latam and Italy.
Monica studied a Master’s degree in Economics of Public Policy at Pompeu Fabra University and a Bachelor degree in Economics at Bocconi University. She is a native Italian speaker, as well as a fluent English and Spanish speaker. She speaks an intermediate level of German and Portuguese.
