Duncan works in London as a manager in Frontier’s Competition practice.
He has ten years of professional experience assisting clients with merger assessments, abuse of dominance cases, market inquiries and other litigation matters, predominantly before South Africa’s competition authorities and courts. Notable recent work includes mergers between the Johannesburg Stock Exchange/Link Market Services and AB InBev/Diageo in respect of brand licensing agreements, and various antitrust litigation cases.
Outside of competition work, Duncan also has experience in energy and transport regulation and policy, as well as international trade matters.
Before his work as a consulting economist, he lectured at the University of Cape Town’s School of Economics and ran the School’s undergraduate writing programme. He holds Honours degrees in both Finance and Economics as well as a Master’s degree in Economics, all from the University of Cape Town.
